Hi Nitun,

I am stuck with the blogger 2 wordpress migration and I need your assistance if you can. That would be great help.

I have a blog at blogspot.com with expertlogic.blogspot.com and I would like to import it to http://obtuz.in which is a self hosted wordpress. I followed all the steps mentioned here and tried to import it but unfortunately I am getting this error again and again. I have mentioned the link where I am getting the error and the error message as well.

Link where error message comes :

accounts.google.com/b/0/AuthSubRequest?scope=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.blogger.com%2Ffeeds%2F&session=1&secure=0&next=http%3A%2F%2Fobtuz.in%2Fwp-admin%2Findex.php%3Fimport%3Dblogger%26noheader%3Dtrue

Error message :
The page you have requested cannot be displayed. Another site was requesting access to your Google Account, but sent a malformed request. Please contact the site that you were trying to use when you received this message to inform them of the error. A detailed error message follows:

AuthSub target path prefix does not match the provided "next" URL.

Please suggest.

Hi,
Google changing their policies for GFC and blogger.com, hence the blog URL inside the advance settings disappearing most of the times. We can't do anything with it. Also from 1st March GFC will shut down for WP.

Hi,
I managed to transfer my feed and thanks to your instructions add the widget to my wordpress blog. Everything was working fine. Except the last few days the error message keeps showing up (that the URL's don't match). When I go back to GFC settings my new site address has disappeared and when I add my new blog url in advanced settings again everything is fine again and then the next day it happens all over. Somehow the new address doesn't 'stick' in the advanced settings. Any ideas?

Hi Jessica,
I can understand your concerns.
But as per our experience till date in blog migration process, we never faced any problem with our script. Its working fine with our old clients' blogger blog. They are still redirecting properly into WP.
If you are still facing any problem, please provide us a detailed information about blogger and WP blog URL in our <a href="http://forum.bloggertowp.org/" rel="nofollow">support forum</a>.
Thanks.

Richard - the same thing happened to me. I am a web designer who routinely does Blogger to WordPress transfers, and I have confirmed with the Google Support Team that the problem *was* in fact caused by this script. However, I was able to get my blog reviewed and restored and I hope you were able to do the same!

As with any online content, everyone please use extreme caution - it IS possible that Google may not restore your blog so be sure you back up both your Blogger template and your content before making any changes.

Hi Richard,
Sorry to hear that your blogs are flagged by Google.
I saw this problem first time. There might be any other problem by which Google Flagged yours blogs.
We are using the same javascript code for number of bloggers' template and they are working fine.
If you are having any other questions, please write in detail on our <a href="http://bloggertowp.org/support/" rel="nofollow">support forum</a>. Our technical team might be helpful for you.
Thanks.

I used this to redirect two Blogger blogs to a WP blog hosted in my own domain. Verification worked fine, installed code and it worked for any post... for about an hour. Google flagged both Blogger blogs as containing MALICIOUS JAVASCRIPT and deleted both blogs in their entirety without warning and with no option to restore.

I'm not happy. :-(
